Dumplings for Paprikas
Vegetables & Side Dishes

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 11â�„2 cups water
  • 1 egg
  • 1â�„2 tsp. salt
  • Water for cooking
Mix water with egg and add enough flour to have a stiff mixture like a thick pancake mix. Boil water. Cut in dumplings from the dough about the size of a little finger. When dumplings rise to the top of the water, drain. Take 2-3 TBS sauce from the paprikas to mix onto the dumplings, or a small amount of oil so they don’t stick together. Serve with paprikas.
Note: Dumplings can be made alone or with broth, as mentioned in broth recipe.
