Crockpot Lasagna
Entrees

Ingredients:
  • 1 sweet Italian sausage link
  • 1?4 cup onion and?or green pepper, chopped
  • 29 oz. plain tomato sauce
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1?4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. minced garlic
  • Oven-ready lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cups cottage cheese
Brown sausage in pan with onions and peppers. Drain off fat. Add sauce, seasonings, sugar and garlic. Simmer for 5-10 minutes
Put 11?2 cup sauce into slow cooker. Layer noodles on top. Layer with 1?2 cup mozzarella cheese and 1?2 cup cottage cheese. Add a layer ofsauce. Complete layers until ingredients are gone or cooker is filled. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.
Cook on low temperature for four to five hours.
