Baked Apples

  • 1 (20 oz.) can sliced apples
  • Cinnamon
  • 3 slices bread, quartered
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 egg
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Place apples in an 8- by 8-inch square baking pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
Cut the bread slices into quarters. Place bread on top of apples.
Melt the butter. Add sugar, egg and salt to butter. Pour the mixture over bread and apples.
Bake for 30 minutes.
