Ann House’s Strawberry Punch
1 (3 oz.) boxes strawberry gelatin powder
4 cups hot water
2 cups sugar
1 (46-oz.) can pineapple juice
1/2 cup bottled lemon juice
4 quarts ginger ale or lemon-lime soda
Dissolve gelatin and sugar in boiling water. Stir in juices. Mix. Add enough hot water to make one gallon. Pour into two half-gallon containers. Freeze.
When ready to serve, allow blocks to thaw slightly. Place in a punch bowl. Add two quarts of ginger ale or lemon-lime soda to each block.
