  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 clove fresh garlic, minced
  • 3 TBS cooking wine
  • 1 small can (14 ounces) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 medium can (46 ounces) diced tomatoes
  • 1 box (13 ounces) penne rigate pasta
  • Seasonings to taste
  • 1/4 cup half and half
Saute onion, pepper and garlic at medium heat in cooking oil in a large sauce pan. Add cooking wine and tomatoes. Turn up to medium-high heat. When tomatoes start to bubble, add the penne. Cook uncooked penne in boiling water for about 9 or 10 minutes or until done, then add seasonings and half and half.
