  • 3 or 4 medium sweet potatoes
  • 1/4 cup corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 TBS flour
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 TBS butter
  • 1/4 cup water
  • Nutmeg
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Peel and sliced sweet potatoes about 1/2 to 1/4 inch thick. Set aside. Combine all ingredients except nutmeg and cook until slightly thickened. Cool and pour over cooked and sliced sweet potatoes. Bake for about 15 minutes or until bubbly. Sprinkle nutmeg on top if desired.
