SOUR CREAM POUND CAKE

Ingredients:
  • Two sticks of butter
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1?2 cup canola oil
  • 5 eggs
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1 8-ounce carton sour cream
  • 1 tsp. each of butter, vanilla, rum and almond and lemon flavoring
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Cream butter, sugar and oil. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each. Sift dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture, alternating with milk.
Add sour cream and mix. Add flavoring.
Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until a knife can be removed cleanly from the cake.
