Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo
Pasta

Ingredients:
  • 1 lb. shrimp
  • 1 stick plus 3 TBS butter
  • 1 1/2 TBS minced garlic
  • Pasta of choice (such as fettuccini)
  • Dash of salt
  • 1 to 2 TBS olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt
  • Pepper
Peel shrimp and remove vein and tail.
Heat a medium skillet on the stovetop on medium heat. Put in 3 TBS butter and garlic. Once pan is hot, add shrimp. Stir every two minutes and cook until shrimp is pink (about 5 minutes). Remove shrimp from pan and set aside.
While shrimp is cooking, cook pasta according to package directions. Add a dash of salt and olive oil to the cooking water. When pasta is finished, strain from pot.
In a sauce pan, warm 1 stick butter and heavy cream. Season with salt and pepper. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted.
Put noodles on plate, pour sauce over and top with shrimp.
