1 chocolate cake
1 recipe (prepared) chocolate frosting
1 pound dipping chocolate
Make a chocolate cake from a favorite recipe, and bake it in a 9- by 13-inch pan. While cake is still hot from the oven, crumble it with a fork. Mix frosting into cake pieces until well incorporated. Cool and refrigerate overnight.
The next day, roll cake/frosting mixture into one inch balls. Set on wax paper.
Melt dipping chocolate, dip balls and decorate. Store in refrigerator for up to 14 days.
Yield: 50 cake balls.
