MANDARIN ORANGE DELIGHT
1 can Mandarin oranges
1 (3 oz.) package orange gelatin mix
1 cup boiling water
1/2 cup whipped topping
Drain oranges and keep syrup. Add water to syrup to make one cup. Set aside six to eight oranges to use as garnish.
Dissolve gelatin into the 1 cup of boiling water and add the one cup of syrup and water mixture. Chill until slightly thickened.
Once slightly thickened, set aside 1/2 cup of gelatin mixture. Fold oranges into remaining gelatin mixture and spoon into serving dish. Chill until set.
Blend whipped topping into the half cup reserved gelatin mixture and spoon on top.
