MASHED POTATO BAKE
Vegetables & Side Dishes

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups hot mashed potatoes (from instant is OK)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 1/3 cup French’s fried onions
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese (optional)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix potatoes, sour cream, milk and garlic powder in a large bowl. Put half the potato mixture in a two-quart baking dish. Sprinkle it with half of the fried onions and half of the shredded cheese. Top with remaining potato mixture. Bake for 30 minutes. Remove baking dish from oven and top potatoes with the rest of the fried onions and cheddar cheese. Return to oven and bake for 5 more minutes or until golden brown.
