Vegetables & Side Dishes
Contributed by:
  • 1 head broccoli
  • 1 head cauliflower
  • 3 carrots
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 2 or 3 squash
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 TBS cooking oil
  • Bleu cheese or Italian dressing, optional
Chop vegetables.
Put salt in cooking water in pan. Place steamer over pan, and put vegetables in steamer.
Bring water to a boil and steam vegetables until they began to change in color. Remove from heat and drain water. Drizzle with vegetable oil and cover quickly so vegetables are hot and steaming. Drizzle dressing over vegetables.
