Ingredients:
  • 1 stick margarine, melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup white Karo syrup
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 cups pecans
  • 2 unbaked pie shells
Add melted margarine to brown sugar and syrup. Lightly beat eggs and add to mixture. Add salt and pecans. Pour into unbaked pie shells. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes, then lower oven temperature to 300 degrees and bake 35 minutes longer. Yields 2 (8-inch) pies.
