CABBAGE AND TURNIPS
Vegetables & Side Dishes

Ingredients:
  • 2 bunches turnip greens
  • 1 large head cabbage
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • dash of sugar
  • small amount of bacon fat
  • (optional)
Chop turnip greens and cabbage. Put in a pot, cover with water and bring to a boil.
Mix all other ingredients and pour in with greens. Cook 30 minutes, until turnip greens and cabbage are tender.
