Banana Bread
Contributed by:
  • 3â�„4 cup softened butter (11â�„2 sticks)
  • 11â�„2 cups sugar
  • 5-6 ripe bananas
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 cups self rising flour
  • 1â�„2 cup buttermilk
  • 1â�„4 cup honey
Mix the butter, sugar, bananas, eggs, vanilla, flour, buttermilk and honey together in a large bowl.
Pour mixture into a large, greased loaf pan. Bake at 325 for about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
