  • 2 large sweet potatoes
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 uncooked pie crusts
Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
Bake potatoes until done. Mash pulp and discard skins. Stir in nutmeg, butter, egg, milk and sugar. Pour into pie crust. Bake for one hour, until pie filling does not quiver in the middle when pie is moved.
