  • 11â�„2 cups barley flour
  • 1â�„2 teaspoon salt
  • 11â�„2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 TBS brown sugar
  • 2 TBS melted margarine
  • 1â�„2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
Sift barley flour, salt and baking powder together. Add sugar. In a separate bowl, add eggs to milk and stir well. Add margarine. Combine the two. Turn out on a floured board. Roll and pat into a flat circle. Place on buttered 9-inch pie plate. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes.
