Waldorf Salad
Vegetables & Side Dishes

  • 4 medium apples (red)
  • 1 TBS plus 1â�„2 tsp. lemon juice, divided
  • 1â�„2 cup celery
  • 1â�„2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1â�„4 cup raisins
  • 1â�„2 cup grapes (seedless), cut in half
  • 1â�„2 cup walnuts (English) or pecans
  • 1â�„2 cup whipping cream
  • 1 TBS sugar
  • Nutmeg, to taste
Chop apples and sprinkle with lemon juice. Add celery, mayonnaise, raisins, grapes and nuts and mix well. Mix cream with sugar and 1�2 tsp. lemon juice and use as dressing for salad. Sprinkle nutmeg generously over dressing
