  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • two large jars traditional tomato sauce
  • 2 lb. lasagna noodles
  • 2 lb. mozarella cheese
  • 2 lb. ricotta cheese
Brown ground beef thoroughly, cooking onion with it. Drain grease. Mix in one jar pasta sauce.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Boil noodles until tender but not overdone.
Spread 1 cup of sauce from second jar in pan. Cover bottom of pan with noodles, cutting to fit where needed. Spread both cheeses across the noodles. Ladle in a layer of meat sauce.
Continue creating layers as above until cheese makes the final layer at top. Cover with foil. Bake for 55 minutes. Let stand for 15 minutes, then cut.
Fills two 13 X 3 casserole dishes.
