Grilled Salmon

  • vegetable oil
  • 2 TBS butter
  • 3 TBS light brown sugar
  • 1 TBS honey
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 2 TBS liquid smoke
  • 2 TBS soy sauce
  • 2 TBS olive oil
  • 1 TBS ground ginger
  • salt and pepper
  • vegetable oil
  • 1 large salmon filet
Mix butter, brown sugar and honey. In a saucepan over medium-high heat, bring to a boil. Add Dijon mustard, liquid smoke, soy sauce, olive oil and ground ginger. Salt and pepper to taste.
Brush vegetable oil on salmon. Grill salmon for 8 minutes with the skin side down. While salmon is on the grill, coat the top with sauce. Flip (the sauce is thick enough not to spill off). Grill 2 to 3 minutes more.
