BUTTERMILK BISCUITS
Breads

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups self-rising flour
  • 1â�„4 cup butter-flavored shortening
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • flour
Mix flour and shortening with fork. Add buttermilk and mix. Put a coating of flour on cutting board. Place dough on top of flour. Pat dough down to about a 1-inch thickness. Sprinkle flour on top. Cut with biscuit cutter. Place cut-outs on greased baking sheet. Bake at 450 degrees 10-12 minutes.
