SWEET POTATOES WITH PECANS AND RAISINS
Vegetables & Side Dishes

Ingredients:
  • 4 medium sweet potatoes
  • 3â�„4 cup Karo syrup or pancake syrup
  • 1â�„2 cup raisins
  • 1â�„2 chopped pecans
Boil sweet potatoes until tender. Peel and slice sweet potatoes and place in buttered 8-inch square baking dish. Pour syrup over potatoes. Heat for 10 minutes in 350 degree oven. Sprinkle raisins and chopped pecans over potatoes and syrup. Baste top with syrup. Heat until mixture is bubbly on cakes.
