Mama’s Pound Cake

  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 6 eggs
  • 3/4 cup canned milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
  • 1 tsp. lemon flavoring
  • 1 tsp. orange flavoring
Cream margarine and shortening well; add sugar gradually and mix well. Add eggs two at a time and beat well. Add flour mixture alternately with milk and flavorings. Beat until well mixed. Bake in oven at 340 degrees for one hour and 30 minutes.
