  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 TBS. corn starch
  • 1 cup water
  • 5 TBS. dry strawberry jello
  • 1 pint fresh strawberries
  • 1 baked pie crust
  • whipped cream for topping
Mix sugar, corn starch and water and cook in a saucepan over medium heat until nearly thickened. Add jello and cook until thick. Let cool. Slice berries and lay them in pie crust. Pour in the filling and chill. Spread whipped cream on top before serving.
