Vegetables & Side Dishes

  • 4 (16 oz.) cans baked beans
  • 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 cup molasses
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 TBS yellow or brown mustard
  • 5 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1 (6 oz.) can French fried onions, crushed
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl, mix beans, pineapple, molasses, barbecue sauce, mustard, bacon and one third of the French fried onions. Add salt and pepper to taste. Pour into 9x13-inch casserole dish and sprinkle with remaining crushed onions and bacon. Cook for one hour until beans are brown and bubbly. Serve warm.
