  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup salt
  • 2 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 TBS vegetable oil
  • a few drops of food coloring, any color
Mix flour, salt and cream of tartar in a saucepan over medium heat. In a bowl, mix water oil and food coloring, and pour it into the saucepan with flour mixture. Cook at medium heat, stirring constantly until the dough forms into a ball and isn’t sticky anymore.
Knead the dough on the countertop, just like bread dough. Cool and store in a sealed container or storage bag.
