EGGNOG
Appetizers

Ingredients:
  • 10 eggs, separated
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 qt. liquor or
  • 1/2 qt. liquor and 1/2 qt. brandy
  • Vanilla to taste
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp. ginger
  • 3 quarts milk
Beat egg whites until stiff then set aside. Beat the egg yolks until thick and creamy. Beat in sugar then mix in liquor very slowly (drop by drop when you start). Add vanilla, nutmeg and ginger. Stir in milk. Fold in egg whites and chill until serving.
