BASIL AND GARLIC SALAD DRESSING/DIP
Contributed by:
Ingredients:
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 3/4 cup loosely packed fresh basil or 1 TBS dried basil
  • 1 (12.3 oz.) package firm silken lite tofu
  • 2 TBS extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 cup water
In a food processor, chop garlic and basil. Add remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.
To make dip instead of dressing, add 1/4 cup water to ingredients before blending.
