WHOLE WHEAT PIZZA

Ingredients:
  • Dough:
  • 3â�„4 cup lukewarm water
  • 1 TBS yeast
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 21â�„4 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3 TBS olive oil
  • Topping:
  • 3 medium tomatoes
  • Peppers
  • Turkey pepperoni
  • Italian spices
  • Shredded cheese, optional
  • Other toppings of choice
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a bowl, stir together water, yeast and sugar. Let stand for three minutes until foamy. In another bowl, mix flour and salt together well. Add yeast mixture to the flour mixture, then add the oil.
Mix with your hands until a shaggy dough forms. Put the dough on a greased pizza pan and press it flat.
Put tomatoes in blender and blend until a paste forms. Spread the paste on the dough and add seasoning as desired. Add peppers, pepperoni and other desired toppings and bake for 25 minutes. Sprinkle on cheese, if desired.
