Pasta sauce

  • 2 28-oz. cans crushed tomatoes
  • 14 to 28 oz. water (depending on thickness desired)
  • 1 TBS Italian seasoning
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1-2 tsp. basil
  • 1-2 tsp. oregano
  • 1-2 tsp. thyme
  • 1-2 bay leaves
Combine ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduice temperature to simmer and cook at least an hour. Flavor improves a day later,
