MEATLOAF

Ingredients:
  • 2 lbs. ground chuck
  • 11â�„2 cups bread crumbs or oatmeal (or a mix of both)
  • 3â�„4 cup ketchup
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. salt substitute
  • 1â�„2 cup warm water
  • 1 pack onion soup mix
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat eggs in a small bowl. Add salt substitute, water and soup mix. In a large bowl, mix meat, bread crumbs (or oatmeal), ketchup and egg mixture together. Place in a 9-by-13-inch pan and cover with tin foil. Bake for one hour; uncover and bake an additional 15 minutes.
