Five-Minute Fudge
Contributed by:
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1â�„4 cup butter or margarine
  • 3â�„4 cup evaporated milk
  • 18 big marshmallows
  • 16 oz. chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
Combine first four ingredients in pan. Cook over medium heat; stir when marshmallows are melted. Cook 5 more minutes, then remove from heat. Stir in chocolate chips until smooth; add vanilla. Pour into a 13- by 9-inch pan. Refrigerate for 30 minutes, then cut.
Variation: To make cookies and cream fudge, use vanilla instead of chocolate chips and add about 11�2 cup crushed Oreo cookies.
