Eggs & Cheese
Contributed by:
  • 6 handfuls macaroni
  • 1 egg
  • 1â�„2 tsp. salt
  • 24 oz. medium cheddar cheese
  • 3-5 cups milk
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Cook macaroni according to package directions, rinse in cold water and drain. Beat egg and mix it and the salt into the macaroni.
Grate cheese or cut it into thin slices. Cover bottom of round or square casserole dish with cheese. Layer macaroni over cheese. Continue layering cheese and macaroni until ingredients run out, ending with cheese on top. Pour milk into the macaroni and cheese until it reaches the top layer of cheese.
Bake until you can press down on the casserole and milk does not ooze out (about 45 minutes).
