Icy weather fades away
Photo Album
Sparse traffic travels down Cleveland Avenue on Friday in Martinsville. Though the area received only .13 inches of rain Friday, local schools closed and travel was hazardous in many areas until Saturday’s milder temperatures melted most of the ice. (Bulletin photos by Mike Wray) Rian Culligan of the building and grounds crew at the Virginia Museum of Natural History, melts some ice on the facility’s sidewalks. There were no injuries Saturday in a two-vehicle accident on Stultz Road.
