Wind fails to stop fun at Bassett Heritage Festival
Photo Album
Above, crowds of people tour the vendors’ displays, try a climbing wall and take part in other activities at the Bassett Heritage Festival on Saturday. (Bulletin photos by Mike Wray) At right, Zachary Wilson, 11, of Axton, rides a mechanical bull that was a popular attraction at the event. An inflatable slide was a hit with kids.
Bonnie Wilson stands beside the Deco Mesh wreaths she offered for sale at the festival. The band Troublesome Highway performs for the festival crowds. A sheriff’s office vehicle leads the parade as part of Saturday’s festival.
Dr. John Bing, grand marshal of the Bassett festival parade, waves to the crowd during the event.
