The front yard of the Fieldale Community Center is receiving a makeover. It is funded by the Fieldale Heritage Festival with the help of Alice Anne Gwynn, co-chair of the festival. This photo was taken after three trees were cut down and approximately half of the shrubbery (some dead) was removed. Six stumps will be ground, and the lawn will be leveled and reseeded.
