Smith River Missionary Baptist Association is having a fundraiser on June 1.

PRAYER & DELIVERANCE SERVICE

Trinity Church of the Living God will have a Prayer and Deliverance Service at 7 p.m. On Saturday at noon the church will have Men’s Day of the True Apostolic Churches of the Living God. At 6 p.m. the Rev. Ronald S. Penn, the Rev. Larry Penn, elder Todd Hurt, the Rev. Eric Ross, elder Frank B. Tatum and Bishop Charles Millner will give sermonettes. On Sunday at 2:30 p.m. the Trinity Mass Choir will celebrate their anniversary. Various other groups also will perform.

COLLEGE GROUP SINGING

Rich Acres Baptist Church, 78 Stuart Ridge Road, Martinsville, will have a special evening of singing and preaching today. The Harvest Trio from West Coast Baptist College in Lancaster, Calif., will be singing, preaching and representing their college.

INTERFAITH COMMUNITY DIALOGUE

The Interfaith Council of Martinsville & Henry County will hold an Interfaith Community Dialogue concerning the American Heritage of Religious Freedom, with presenters from the Jewish, Christians and Islamic traditions at 3-4:30 p.m. June 9 at the Islamic Center of Martinsville & Henry County, 17125 AL Philpott Highway, Martinsville.

ANNIVERARY/HOMECOMINGS

Fort Trial Baptist Church, 170 Oak Level Road, Stanleytown, will hold Homecoming on June 2, with a 10:30 a.m. music in worship and church service at 11. Terry Chitwood, pastor of Belle Aire Baptist Church, Murfreesboro, Tenn., will speak. Lunch will follow on the grounds.

Progressive Prayer Temple, 64 Cameron Road, Martinsville, will in honor of its 27th anniversary at 3 p.m. Sunday. Guest speaker Elder Von Finney, pastor of New Life in Christ in Stuart, accompanied by his choir and congregation.

Mill Creek Baptist Church, 6200 Henry Road, Henry, will hold its 135th Homecoming at 10:45 a.m. June 2, with message by Pastor Marty Johnston, followed by a concert by The Churchmen at noon and lunch to follow.

Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 13602 Martinsville Highway, Cascade, will celebrate its 116th anniversary & homecoming at 3 p.m. June 2, with guest preachert the Rev. Matthew Brown and his congregation from St. Paul High Street Baptist Church in Martinsville.

TALENT PROGRAM

Shiloh Baptist Church in Fieldale will have a talent program at 3 p.m. Sunday.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH SERVICE

Mount Sinai Church, 7 Peters St., Martinsville, Youth Ministry will hold a Community Outreach Service at 3 p.m. Sunday, with guest speaker Carl T. Motley Jr.

REVIVAL SERVICES

Southside Baptist Church, 49 Morganford Road, Ridgeway, will continue with revival services at 7:30 p.m. Saturday and at 10 a.m. Sunday, with Craig Seaford as guest speaker.

Moral Hill Missionary Baptist Church will hold spring revival at 7 nightly Tuesday through Thursday, with the Rev. Dwight N. Mack, pastor of Mayo Missionary Baptist Church, as guest speaker.

FISH FRY

Moral Hill Missionary Baptist Church will hold a fish fry at 10:30 a.m. Saturday.

Smith River Missionary Baptist Association will hold a community breakfast fundraiser at 9 a.m. June 1 at Mount Zion Baptist Church's Jacob Dillard Fellowship Hall to generate donations to complete various building projects at the churches.
