The 7-on-7 summer football league at Smith River Sports Complex returns to its regular Tuesday night schedule tonight at Smith River Sports Complex. Patrick County returns for the first time this summer, joining Magna Vista, Bassett, McMichael, Reidsville, and Tunstall.
The schedule for tonight’s games is listed below. Field 4A is closest to the grass fields and Field 4B is closest to the scoreboard on the back turf. Field 5A is closest to the scoreboard on the front turf.
Concessions will be open for fans and players.

BASKETBALLMartinvsille Rim Rockers holding benefit game with 102 Jamz Saturday
The Martinsville Rim Rockers, a local 13-14 year old travel basketball team, will host a benefit game Saturday night with the 102 Jamz basketball team facing off against the Martinsville/Henry County All-Stars, Saturday at Martinsville Middle School.
Admission will be $7 for adults. Kids 10 and under are $5, and children under 3 are free.
The Martinsville/Henry County All-Stars is a group of former and current Piedmont players such as recent Martinsville graduates Nigal Davis, Aaron Martin, and Jalexus Mitchell, and Carlisle volleyball coach Janika Hunt, among others. They will entertain the crowd and light up the score board against the 102 Jamz team. 102 Jamz is a radio station based out of Greensboro. The team will feature morning radio personalities B-Daht and Drankin. B-Daht is a comedian who did a long stint on the MTV show “Wild-N-Out.”
The exciting Starlight Dynasty Dancers from High Point, North Carolina will electrify the crowd with high energy, intense high-stepping dance moves.
Concessions will be sold from 6-10 p.m.
