Henry County District CourtJeremy Todd Caron of Penhook was charged with eluding police. The offense allegedly happened April 1. The next hearing is in September.

Patrick Leopolo Dziewiecki of Axton was charged with rape (victim helpless). The offense allegedly happened June 5, resulting in arrest July 1. The next hearing is later in July.

William Tyrone Matthews of Martinsville was charged with first degree murder, possession/transport of deadly weapon, and use of firearm in felony (second offense). The offenses allegedly happened April 25, resulting in arrest July 1. The next hearing is in January.

Martinsville District CourtHartley William Ashworth of Martinsville was charged with shoplifting less than $500 (third offense). The offense allegedly happened June 30. The next hearing is later in September.

Tyrece Omar Penn of Spencer was charged with entering house to commit assault and battery, possession of a gun by a nonviolent felon convicted within 10 years and firearm larceny (not personal). The offenses allegedly happened June 26. The next hearing is in August.

Terry Lee Massey of Axton was charged with manufacturing a controlled substance. The offense allegedly happened Dec. 12. The next hearing is in September.

A judge sent to circuit court two counts of manufacturing a controlled substance against Jonathan Keith Hunt of Axton. The offenses allegedly happened Nov. 5.

Lesley Demonde Hundley of Martinsville was charged with felony possession of weapon/ammo (not gun). The offense allegedly happened April 23. The next hearing is in October.

Travis Lee Davis of Fieldale was charged with failure to stop at an accident (more than $1,000) and shoplifting less than $500 (third offense). The offenses allegedly happened April 12. The next hearing is later in July.

Robert Jason Bailey of Martinsville was charged with grand larceny (less than $500; not personal) and entering house to commit assault and battery. The offenses allegedly happened on May 9. The next hearing is in August.

Phillip Daniel Casse of Martinsville was charged with grand larceny (less than $500; not personal) and entering house to commit assault and battery. The offenses allegedly happened on May 9. The next hearing is in August.

Patrick CountyDustin Belcher of Meadows of Dan was charged with fugitive with felony arrest. The offense allegedly happened June 2, resulting in arrest of June 26. Administrative hearing is later in July.

Gabriel Antonio Cuello of Charlotte, N.C., was charged with paying/receiving admission for an animal fight. The offense allegedly happened June 1.

Dagoberto Figueroa-Ramos of Winston-Salem, N.C., was charged with paying/receiving admission for an animal fight. The offense allegedly happened June 1.

Severiano Gonzalez Albemarle, N.C., was charged with paying/receiving admission for an animal fight. The offense allegedly happened June 1.

Carlos Hernandez of Stokesdale, N.C., was charged with paying/receiving admission for an animal fight. The offense allegedly happened June 1.

Jose Jaramillo-Gonzales of Dobson, N.C., was charged with paying/receiving admission for an animal fight. The offense allegedly happened June 1.

Santiago Zarate Raymundo of Winston-Salem, N.C., was charged with paying/receiving admission for an animal fight. The offense allegedly happened June 1.

John Darian Manning of Greensboro N.C., was charged with DWI (first offense). He was sentenced to 1 year in jail, with 11 months suspended, driver’s license suspended for 1 year, 2 years of supervised probation and ordered to pay a fine of $250 plus costs. The offense happened May 14.
