Patrick County District Court
Dustin Lee Belcher of Woolwine was charged with six counts of obtaining money under false pretenses-more than $500 and six counts of stolen property: intent to sell-more than $500. The offenses allegedly happened May 8, May 11, May 21 and May 27. His preliminary hearing is in August.
Ronald Odell Holt of Stuart was found guilty of DWI first offense. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail, with 20 days suspended, 1 year of supervised probation, driver’s license was suspended for 1 year and ordered to complete VASAP. The offense happened June 23.
Austin Wayne McGrady of Claudville was charged with manufacturing a controlled substance. The offense allegedly happened June 18. His preliminary hearing is in August.
Jordan Dale Quesinberry of Ararat was charged with arson in a dwelling usually occupied. The offense happened Aug. 8. His next hearing is in August.
Brandon Michael Amos of Bassett was charged with gun possession by non-violent felon convicted within 10 years. The offense allegedly happened June 3. His next hearing is in August.
A judge sent to circuit court a charge of unlawful wounding against Bruce Edward Overby of Patrick Springs. The offense allegedly happened May 3.
A judge sent to circuit court a charge of assault on a law enforcement/dept. of corrections person against Chase Trevor Kaufman of Woolwine. The offense allegedly happened May 3.
A judge sent to circuit court a charge of entering a house to commit assault and battery against Brandon Rayne Hale of Collinsville. The offense allegedly happened March 27.
A judge sent to circuit court a charge of entering house to commit assault and battery and a charge of petty larceny (felony) against Wesley Warren Taylor of Collinsville. The offense allegedly happened March 27.
Patrick County Circuit Court
Rodger Hadyn Mitchell of Bassett was found guilty of unauthorized use of motor vehicle. He was ordered to pay $680 in restitution. The offense happened Aug. 4, resulting in arrest in March.
Edward Earnest Barnes of Bassett was charged with aggravated sexual battery-victim under 13, sexual penetration by object and indecent liberties with a child by person in custodial relationship. The offenses allegedly occurred Jan. 1, 2014, resulting in arrest June 5. His next hearing is in August.
