To the editor:

With Memorial Day approaching I feel like I have a good news/closure story. My great uncle went MIA on May 18, 1951, in the Korean War, on the day before his birthday. His remains were identified, and we were notified in February. He will be flown in with full honors etc as if was just killed, and the funeral will be in Rocky Mount then a procession with the Patriot Guard and all will be following. His name was Carlos Edward Ferguson, and I have all of the information from the incident in which it is believed he was killed and to how his remains were identified.
